Here’s a summery of my journey thus far! I graduated in 2010. I absolutely hated my body! I was not happy at all! That picture is for my graduation party. I remember my aunt telling me that I should start worrying about my weight. It hurt to hear but an eye opener. Dress shipping for prom was the worst ever! I cried at every store because I couldn’t find a dress to fit. I ended up wearing a plain black dress because its the only thing that fit and because I thought black was “slimming” however my prom pictures say otherwise. I started my journey in August of 2010 with a starting weight of 209lbs. The second picture was in 2011. I took a trip to the ruins in Guatemala in that picture. It was super hot and I was too self conscious to wear shorts and a tank top so I had to suffer. I had already lost some weight from the prior year. And couldn’t wait for the next years picture. The third picture is from thanksgiving 2012. I had so much more confidence in myself and loved the way I looked! I remember family that I hadn’t seen in a long time keep telling me how great I looked. I loved hearing it and that only helped motivate me even more. The last picture is of May 11, 2013. I would have never imagined myself feeling that great dressing up for a party! I felt amazing and loved my family’s comments! No to mention to took about a million pictures of myself haha I’m not conceded I promise. As of today I am 151 pounds and couldn’t be prouder of myself. This has been a hard and long journey. I’ve given it my all. Haven’t been perfect all the time and I have had my crappy moments but I haven’t given up! Can’t wait till 2014 picture in my tiny bikini! Haha
[X] - One Leg Romanian Deadlift
Main targeted muscle group: Gluteus Maximus and Hamstrings
Secondary muscle group: Lower Back
How is it performed? Start out by holding a dumbbell in one hand and stand on the opposite leg, knee slightly bend. Bend over with your hips while keeping your back straight, your shoulder blades retracted and the dumbbell near your thigh and shin as you slide it down. How low you can go depends on hamstring flexibility.
The single leg romanian deadlift puts lets stress on the lower back compared to the romanian deadlift due to the reduction in weight.
It also works your abs when you have to keep your balance! 😄

Thanks doll!! I eat clean and workout! I do weight lifting four times a week divided by muscle groups and interval training cardio and I eat clean. I count my calories and keep control of my macros. Hope that gave an idea. Let me know if you have more questions!
Answer:
Hey! Good job on the eating healthy! That’s the most important thing! I eat clean. Lots of veggies and I count my calories. I use my fitness pal which helps with that! Some people don’t like counting calories but I feel it helps. I work out six times a week I lift weights and I divide my workouts by muscle groups and I do two days of cardio. If you have more questions deff let me know!

hey fitfam!! Okay, so I’ve hit a plateau! And it’s pretty bad. I’m starting to be super frustrated because I’m working my butt off and I don’t see too much change. I only lost a pound or two since January even though I have lost inches and toned up but I want to lose more fat. Do any of you have any tips on how to get past this plateau before I give up on myself! Helllpppppp! Thanks!
Just some progress! I have finally started to get out of my plateau I was beginning to get frustrated! Not as much progress as I would have liked for four months but I’ll take slow progress over no progress any day!
